Social Impact
Captain Alex, born in a poor favela in Niteroi, participated in Project Grael when he was young. This amazing project gives youngsters from poor families and communities access to the sailing sport and industry. They teach them sailing, go to regattas and have a program to train them for a future job in the sailing industry. This project gave Alex the opportunity to do what he does now, and he wants to give back. When you book your tour with us, Alex can grow his company LifeMar and start giving back. He wants to employ youngsters from the project and financially support the project that changed his life. He is already helping by coaching the youngsters of the project. We love to help Alex pursue his dream and let others follow in Alex his footsteps.
