Christmas if over, now everyone is just waiting for New Years. Let us all hope for some positive things to take place next year, perhaps the widespread hunt for corruption will lead to a clean-up that has good consequences.
The whole view on stealing tax money must change, you should weigh in the ultimate consequences of taking money from the public coffers, for instance that the money stolen actually directly lead to deaths (bad road maintenance, less police hours, hospital equipment etc.); you could charge them with a type of manslaughter perhaps? In the end of the day I think the general attitude has to change, to be proud of being Brazilian has to extend even to people working with tax money (be that politicians or public service workers). They have to understand that when you have jobs like that your responsibility is to Brazil and to its citizens, they have to forget the whole “se-dar-bem” attitude that far too many have.

The buses that normally would run on Rua Visconde de Pirajá are temporarily running on the beach avenue Vieira Souto, there is no clear available schedule, sometimes there are changes so you have to make sure at the time you want to catch the bus. The next one or two years traffic in the center of Rio will be complicated during rush hours, big constructions in the port area are the main reasons.
