Activities in Rio; Pool, Cinema, Bowling, Darts and Go KartAre you looking for where you can do activities in Rio like Pool, Darts and Bowling? Or maybe you want to go to the Movies? I for one try to get out once a week to play Pool with my friends. 
Hustling at "Clube do Taco" in Copacabana. Playing Pool, or Sinuca as they call it here, is popular and there are quite a few places around, go to Pool in Rio to find out where they are. Cinema Just click Cinema in Rio and you will get all the info you need. Bowling, or Boliche in Portuguese, is not a really big game in Rio. You will find it in some of the shopping malls and is more for the wealthier since it is quite pricy. The connection with american culture is strong. The two places I have listed are both in Barra de Tijuca and are accessible by bus from Zona Sul. Barra Bowling, Barra Shopping, Av. das Américas 4666, Barra de Tijuca,phone 2431-9566. 20 lanes. Darts has never been one of the more popular activities in Rio, is only available in connection to enclaves of culture from the British Shenanigan´s, R. Visconde de Pirajá 112, Copacabana, phone 2267-5860, Mon-Thu 18h/2h Fri 18h/3h Sat 14h/3h Sun 14h/2h. Irish pub, pooltable, darts, quiz night on Mondays with half price on steak, football games. Bring your own darts if you have them, sometimes the bar doesn´t have. Go Kart like Bowling is only available in a few Shopping Malls, here I have listed the two most accessable. Kartódromo Premium, Av. Ayrton Senna 3010, next to Via Parque Shopping, Barra de Tijuca, phone 2421-3535/9995-3535, everyday 17h/00h. Available 6.5 Hp engine on quite extensive track outdoor.
